4 Steps to Success

Why do I love watching the Warriors? Sure, they're phenomenal players and NBA champs, but there are four key elements I always notice—which is why I never miss a game.

1) Teamwork. These guys work TOGETHER. They're unselfish and they have a collective goal. Whether on the sideline or in the heat of the game, they've got each other's backs.

2) Leadership. Not just Steve Kerr—who leads with empowerment and integrity—but also leadership on the court. Steph Curry is often the one setting the course, but you'll also notice others providing direction and encouragement.

3) Respect. Not only do they respect each other, the coaches and their medical team, but they also recognize and appreciate the talent of the teams they play against.

4) Fun. These guys have a great time. Of all the teams in the league, they're my favorite to watch on the floor and on the bench. They exude joy and goofiness.

In sports, business or life, some of us are miserable by the time we reach the top. We've forgotten who we are on the way to achieving our goals and we forget to enjoy our success when we get there.

Want to get that passion back?

Carve out a few hours to watch a Warriors game. You'll be glad you did—and you just might become a die-hard fan like me.
